Are you working to enhance the visibility and outreach of your meeting and welcome new participants to the Religious Society of Friends? Apply for a grant from the Membership Development Granting Group—projects of all sizes are welcome to apply. Submit your application at least two months before your project begins. The group meets in January, March, June, and October to review applications.
Are you traveling internationally to promote understanding, peace, and other Friends’ concerns? Are you a PYM Young Adult Friend traveling for ministry, service, witness, or Quaker study? Are you an organization hosting programs that support and build the PYM Young Adult Friends community? Are you a PYM Friend traveling to engage in interfaith dialog, service, or ministry? Apply for a grant from the Travel and Witness Granting Group by December 1st.
Are you an Indigenous person or community leading efforts to connect, grow, or share cultural heritage? Apply for a grant from the Quaker Fund for Indigenous Communities.
Grants Beyond PYM
Are you a PYM member with children in PYM Friends Schools? Apply for financial aid through the Friends Council on Education (NFEF). Submit the tuition aid form to your meetings clerk by the end of December, and submit the complete form to the school by February 15th. Grants are paid directly to the school in the fall for the year tuition aid is awarded. Families are kept informed by the school’s financial aid officer and should contact their meeting for any additional funding needs. Follow this link for a video with more information.
John Martin Trust
Are you a PYM member navigating financial challenges? Apply for a one-time or monthly recurring grant (up to $8,500 total over six months) by December 1st through your meeting to the John Martin Trust (JMT). For more information, visit their website.
