Join Trenton Meeting for the annual New Year’s Eve Peace Vigil, co-sponsored by Coalition for Peace Action of Princeton. The event will proceed as follows. At 4 pm we will settle for silent introspection after a few words of explanation of Quaker expectant silence. After about 15 mintes, representatives of mutliple faith groups will share brief remarks on the place or importance of Peace in their faith tradition. Following that we will return to Quaker silence and attendees who feel so led, can share briefly from their personal and/or faith tradition. At about 5:15 we will engage in a half hour of group singing of well know songs. Then an enjoyable time of fellowshiping and partaking of the light supper that will be supplied.
Folks are welcome to join late or depart early. If entering during introspective silence please settle quietly.
