Over the past 18 months we have returned to numbers in meeting for worship approximating those prior to COVID. We have not been able thought to return to an adult day school program but have now planned a Quakerism 101 series for March and April. we do not currently have a childrens program.
We have also had a successful Christmas Eve service with good attendance. We had a two out reach programs for the community this past summer, one was an evening of music in the graveyard and the other was a fund raising for event for a Home for disable children in Haiti.
We have had discussions around the tragic situation in Gaza and the difficulty of understanding what options might be available to bring a resolution to this complex problem. Based on the news reports this issue is weighting on members and attenders conscious.
There has also been concern for the our impact on climate. After a review of the meetings property, we determined that the south facing roof of the caretakers house would be a good site for solar panels and the meeting approved moving ahead with installation of solar as part of our response to global warming.
