During the 2021-22 time period Centre focused on ways to keep attenders engaged and safe. Meetings for worship were held in person and and via ZOOM during this period. Early in 2021 through winter of 2022 (January – March) more attenders connected via ZOOM, but during the summer and into the fall the physical attendance has increased significantly so we have 15-30 physical attenders and 3-6 remote. In November we sponsored a weekend retreat to Pendlehill with a focus on how we want to be personally engaged and work through ideas for physical engagement following this period of disruption due to the pandemic. During the summer of 2022 we also had discussion as to how we can give back to the community. Based on this discussion we raised a substantial donation for Habitat for Humanity of northern Delaware to help address the acute local housing shortage. To address international poverty especially that driving central American distress, we made a contribution to Right Sharing of World Resources and we had a finding raising BBQ for Children’s home in Haiti. Going forward into 2023 our meeting is focused getting our community re-engaged with social activities and meeting in person.
