Friendly Spaces for Families
Do people passing by know that Quakers worship here and all are welcome? Do new attenders and visitors get the information and connections that make them feel comfortable to come again? What is the first impression of visitors to your meeting place? Will they feel at home and be able to picture themselves there?

Camp Onas is owned and operated by Friends Camp Association of Pennsylvania, Inc., a nonprofit corporation. It is a camp, outdoor education facility, and retreat center. Friends Camp Association strives to be a faithful steward of its heritage, people, land and other resources based on the Quaker belief of that of God in everyone. Camp Onas is a caring community where individuals are nurtured and encouraged spiritually and group unity is fostered through recreation and education in a peaceful and simple environment.
The Peace Camp at Gwynedd Friends
The Peace Camp at Gwynedd Friends is an annual Day Camp, two weeks in August, for children entering first grade through entering seventh grade. The offer of scholarship assistance and the joyful inclusion of children from diverse backgrounds, including Quakers, create opportunities for children to have fun in a supportive environment while finding peace within themselves so they are able to contribute to peaceful environments at home, at school, and with friends. Campers learn to express their emotions constructively, understand other points of view, use words to solve problems, celebrate differences and practice peacemaking. There are indoor and outdoor cooperative games, arts and crafts, music, creative problem-solving and service projects to choose from.
