Young Adult Friends Spring 2024 Retreat: “Welcoming Your Inner Child” at Camp Onas

Calling Young Adult F/friends and Seekers, ages 18 through 35, to the Spring Retreat at Camp Onas! The theme for this retreat is “Welcoming Your Inner Child,” and we will do activities that allow us to deepen our relationship to our inner child, and celebrate the parts of our child-like abilities as we navigate being Young Adult F/friends and Seekers in the world today.

The Spring Retreat will be from Friday, April 12, through Sunday, April 14, at Camp Onas. Young Adult Friends will participate in activities, conduct our Business Meeting, and connect with each other through fellowship and worship sharing.

This is an overnight event. We will be staying at Camp Onas on Friday and Saturday night, so don’t forget to pack your sleeping bags, pillows, clothes, necessary bathroom items, medications, and anything else you might need.

Register today! Registration closes on Friday, April 5, 2024. In order to make this retreat financially accessible, the cost to participate is available at a sliding scale of $0-$60.

SCHEDULE

Friday April 12th

6 p.m.: Start Time (Check In, Settle In, Chore Sign Up, Start Dinner)

7-8 p.m.: Dinner

8-9 p.m.: Opening Activity (Introduction, Community Guidelines, Bonfire)

Saturday, April 13th

8:30 a.m.: Breakfast

10 a.m.-12 p.m.: Workshop with Friend ,O, grounded by the presence of an Elder

12:30-1:30 p.m.: Lunch

2-4 p.m.: Workshop with Friend Julian Brandenberger (bring clothes to move in, yoga mat is suggested but optional)

4 p.m.: Meeting for Business

5 p.m.: Dinner Prep

6-7 p.m.: Dinner

7-8 p.m.: Worship Sharing

8 p.m.: Movie

Sunday, April 14th

8:30 a.m.: Breakfast

9 a.m.: Pack up and Clean Up

10 a.m.: Worship

11 a.m.: Departure
