Celebrate the summer with the Young Adult F/friends community (ages 18-35) on Saturday, August 24, from 10:00 a.m. till 8:00 p.m. at Arch Street Meeting House. Along with fellowship, worship sharing, and free time, we will have the distinct pleasure of participating in a Tarot Card Workshop led by Tara Rubinstein. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided.
This will be an opportunity for us to gather and spend time together as the Summer season comes to a close and Young Adults find themselves gearing up for the busy Fall season. If you’re wanting to be in the company of F/friends, to rest, and to experience spiritual and social nourishment, we hope you’ll be there!
The cost for this event is on a sliding scale of $0-$20.
Community Expectations:
The Young Adult F/friends community is a collaborative community where we share responsibility and work together to support each of our gatherings. This means, each F/friend is expected to support making and setting up meals, cleaning up dishes and shared areas, collecting and disposing of trash, organizing spaces and activities to their original layout, and other such responsibilities. We welcome each F/friend contributing to the collective work of the Young Adult community in ways that feel comfortable and accessible. We share responsibility to align with our Quaker values of community and service, and to ensure that the task of tending to our community is distributed fairly among F/friends.
