“Lifelines-Aid Workers in Gaza” A Short Film and Conversation
December 22 @ 11:00 am - 1:30 pm
FreeOn Sunday 22 December at Rise of Meeting at the Moorestown Monthly Meeting, join American Friends Service Committee staffer Elizabeth Corse and others for a 15-minute film created by staff workers, Firas and Serena, who are working in Gaza to reach so many with life-saving aid, despite the desperate conditions they face. This film will describe the joyous work Friends are supporting in Gaza. We’ll share some of the ways Friends can support this peacebuilding effort, including contacting legislators and the White House, joining online worship, and spreading the word.
While the film does not show active violence, the results of bombing and warfare are very apparent, and there is discussion of various ways people are suffering. The content should be fine for teenagers, but care for younger children is appropriate.
