End of life decisions involve not only getting our financial and familial affairs in order but also considerations on where we would like our bodily remains to end up. This online Zoom event is being presented by The Concord Quarter Working Group on Aging Concerns. Matthew Genereux is the speaker. He is the Funeral Director of the Longwood Funeral Home in Kennett Square. For 30 years, Matthew’s funeral service experience includes serving his own client families and services to other local area funeral homes throughout the nation.
He will discuss what we should know about the timeline for our bodies after death and three funeral options: Traditional burial,
cremation, and green burial. Time for questions will be provided.
This will be part one of a two part series. Part two will be a presentation on body donation, organ donation and human composting, This is scheduled for March 26.
