Courage to Resist: Commemorating 50 Years Since Vietnam
April 26 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

On Saturday, April 26, we will come together for an evening of stories, connection, resistance, and inspiration for a more just, peaceful future. With opportunities to join in person or online, we will highlight the efforts of AFSC staff, volunteers, conscientious objectors, and other war resisters in the struggle for peace.
If you plan to attend the event in person, join us at Friends Center at 5:30 p.m. ET for a reception. Our hybrid program begins at 6:30 p.m. ET with a conversation with AFSC’s Archivist Don Davis and an opportunity to catch up with old and new friends.
The hybrid program continues at 7 p.m. ET featuring former AFSC staff member Claudia Krich. Claudia and her husband, Keith Brinton, were co-directors of the AFSC Quang Ngai program from March 1973 until July 1975. In her new book Those Who Stayed, she offers a firsthand account of the collapse of the South Vietnamese government and the beginning of the new Provisional Revolutionary Government.
