On Sunday, January 5 at rise of Meeting at the Moorestown Meetinghouse, F/friends are invited to join Christie Duncan-Tessmer, the General Secretary of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting.
In her decade as General Secretary, Christie has lived her conviction that our spiritual lives as Quakers exist in the context of our larger community at Philadelphia Yearly Meeting. General Secretary Christie has streamlined operations to pull together in a stronger and better articulated plan of organization the diverse parts of PYM.
When Christie leaves her position at PYM in July 2025, she will leave behind a legacy of engaged listening, generous hospitality, and a streamlined and updated organization that draws us back to the deep springs which feed our quest for peace and justice.
Please join us as we welcome in 2025 to have a conversation about where we are and where we are going as Quakers.
