Celebration of tree being added to Upper Dublin Elder Grove

Event at Upper Dublin Meeting– 1506 Ft. Washington Ave., Maple Glen
At 11 AM on Sunday November 24, following 10 AM Worship, we will gather at our wonderful tree which sprouted back in 1796 and is now selected as a member of the Upper Dublin Elder Grove.
Commissioner Donah Beale (Chair) and Commissioner Steve Hunter who spearheaded the project will say a few words about the Elder Grove fostered by the Upper Dublin Historic Commission. Author and historian Tom Keels who is writing the history of Upper Dublin Quaker Meeting will also share some remarks.
Two of the children in our community will tie a special ribbon around the tree created by one of our members who is a talented seamstress.
