A Little About My Role at PYM
As the Sessions and Events Coordinator, Tara is responsible for making sure that Yearly Meeting gatherings feel well-supported, vibrant and accessible. This includes providing hybrid technology, finding physical locations, setting up registration systems, working with vendors, and collaborating closely with committees. Ultimately, Tara’s goal is to help PYM Friends connect and feel uplifted whenever they gather!
About Tara
Tara is a former small business owner, program director and educator. She has held various support roles at PYM over the past five years, starting in 2016 as the Middle School Friends Coordinator. For the past 15 years, Tara has dedicated her professional life to the meaningful work of tending communities of faith and justice. While the day-to-day efforts flow between program development to budget management to communications, she never loses sight of the primary purpose of cultivating a healthy organization that makes it possible for members to thrive.
