October 15, 2006, has been planned to learn of the critical issues facing
the Middle east from this country's perspective. Representatives
will speak with political, religious and and ordinary citizens of Lebanon.
The intention is to speak to the suffering and violence in this country.
The itinerary has been put together by the Middle East Council of Churches
(MECC). Participants from Philadelphia Yearly Meeting include

of Peace & Concerns Standing Committee;
Ted Moon of Birmingham Monthly Meeting; and Martin Kromer of Centre Monthly Meeting.
