Paid Positions
Database Coordinator
The Database Coordinator gathers and maintains Philadelphia Yearly Meeting (PYM) membership, monthly meeting contact, committee, working group, and volunteer information, generates associated reports and data files, and coordinates overall use of the membership database. This position also works closely with PYM's Nominating Committee to support their work.
Director of Annual Giving
The Director of Annual Giving plans, organizes, and implements fund raising and
development programs that benefit PYM’s Annual Fund under the direction
of the Associate Secretary for Advancement and Communications (ASAC). As PYM
is a member-led faith community, this position requires a mindfulness of the
spiritual dimension of this work, and sensitivity to the role of member volunteers.
This person works in close collaboration with the General Secretary, the Development
Services Group, and the Deferred Giving Governance Group.
Human Resources Coordinator
The Human Resources Coordinator oversees and administers the personnel-related business of PYM managing staff recruitment, training, performance evaluation, employee relations, policy development, compensation, and benefits. The HR Coordinator also serves as staff support for the Personnel Services Group.

PYM Standing Committees
PYM needs you! There is great work being done by our Yearly Meeting working groups. But we always need people to serve as adminstrators of that work. This requires special gifts of time and experience. But the rewards are great. There is a process that the Nominating Committee goes through to find people for standing committees. You must be a member of a Monthly Meeting in Philadelphia Yearly Meeting and have experience with Quaker discernment practices. Though you might not be asked to serve on a standing committee, the Nominating Committee might suggest you join one of our many working groups. Click on the title above for more information.
Web Volunteers
We are looking for more people to serve on the Web Working Group. The WWG meets via conference calls usually on the third Tuesday evening of each month. If you are a member or attender of a Meeting within Philadelphia Yearly Meeting and have some web based technical expertise and would like to volunteer a few hours a month helping with the site, or would like to help with discerning and developing the policies of the PYM website, please email us at: webmanagers@pym.org
